Prayer times depend on your location and the calculation method. Open Settings to choose a calculation method, the ʿAṣr (madhhab) rule, and a high-latitude rule that match your community.
In Alarms → + Alarm, pick what the alarm is “Relative to” (a prayer, Sunrise, the middle of the night, or the last third of the night), then set an offset such as “30 minutes before Fajr.” Alarms can repeat weekly or on the White Days (13–15 of each Hijri month).
Yes. Prayer times, alarms, the Qibla, and the date tools work without a connection. The Flight Prayer Planner uses the internet for accurate time-zone detection and falls back to an on-device estimate when offline.
Move your phone in a figure-8 to calibrate the compass, and keep it away from magnets or metal. Make sure location access is enabled.
Allow notifications for Mawqiti in your device settings. On iOS 26 and later, Mawqiti uses the system alarm so it can sound through Silent and Focus — make sure you granted the alarm permission when prompted.
